Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-02-035 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT # 95-12 (DRAINAGE PROJECT FOR SECTION 22) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, on February 14, 1995, a report has been prepared by Mr. Steven Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #95-12 (Drainage Project for Section 22, located in the Rum River Drainage District); and WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 28, 1995 which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project $27,950.00 $28,206.21 .533% Estimated total assessment Estimated tax capacity increase for District NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the proposed improvement of such drainage program in accordance with the report and the assessment of the Rum River Drainage District for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code, at an estimated total cost of $28,206.21. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14th day of March, 1995, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beahen and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
