Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-02-036 RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF VARIANCE TO TERRY HENDRIKSEN WHEREAS, on March 17, 1994, Terry Hendriksen was granted a variance to construct an addition to the principal structure that will encroach on the C.S.A.H. #56 thoroughfare setback on the property generally known as 15631 Ramsey Boulevard N.W. WHEREAS, {}9.03.05 of the City Code states that a variance shall become null and void one year after the date of issuance if it is not initiated or utilized, unless City Council has granted an extension. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a written request from Terry Hendriksen, dated February 16, 1995, in accordance with §9.03.05 of the City Code, indicating that the addition to the home has not commenced and that a one year extension be granted to the variance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants a one year extension to Terry Hendriksen at 15631 Ramsey Boulevard N.W. for the construction of an addition to the principal structure of the property that will encroach on the thoroughfare setback of C.S.A.H. #56 (Ramsey Boulevard N.W.). The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beahen and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Beyer whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of February, 1995.
