Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION g95-02-045 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT g0373 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM R-3 URBAN RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Gary Gorham, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to rezone <br />certain property from R-3 Urban Residential to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />That the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section <br />9.03.03 of the City Code on February 7, 1995 and that said public hearing was properly <br />advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the Northwest corner of GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES <br />according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in <br />and for Anoka County, Minnesota; thence South along the West line of said GORHAM'S <br />SANDY ACRES ESTATES for a distance of 549.17 feet, thence West and parallel with the <br />North line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 24 for a distance of 429.98 feet to a <br />point hereinafter known as Point A; thence continuing West and parallel with said North <br />line of the Southwest Quarter to the centerline of State Trunk Highway No. 47; thence <br />Southeasterly along said centerline for a distance of 400.57 feet to the actual point of <br />beginning of land to be described; thence East and parallel with said North line of the <br />Southwest Quarter for a distance of 593.98 feet; thence Northwesterly to the <br />aforementioned Point A; thence East and parallel with said North line of the Southwest <br />Quarter to the West line of GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES to the Southwest <br />corner thereof; thence Westerly along the Westerly extension of the South line of said <br />GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES to the centerline of State Trunk Highway No. <br />47; thence Northwesterly along said centerline to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />and upon recording: <br /> <br />Willow Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />4. The total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately eighteen (18) acres. <br /> <br />5.
