Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-03-049 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT //95-12 (SECTION #22 DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT) WHEREAS, a resolution adopted on February 14, 1995, by the City Council, authorized the preparation of a feasibility report for Improvement Project//95-12; and WItEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared a feasibility study for the drainage improvements located in Section//22; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received the said feasibility study on February 28, 1995, and scheduled a public hearing for March 14, 1995; and WHEREAS, City policy states that the City's portion of drainage improvements are to be paid through Drainage District Taxing Districts. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the said project be ordered as defined by the Council Resolution adopted on the 28th day of February, 1995. 2) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the completion of this project. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Beyer and the following voted against the same: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Beahen and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of March, 1995..~-Mayo~r~ ~-~ ~~CL~
