Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-03-052 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT <br />TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION (ASTECH) FOR <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />TO ASPHALT SURFACE <br />THE 1992 SEALCOATING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July 5, <br />1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution on July 14, <br />1992 awarding the bid to ASTECH for the 1992 Sealcoating Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the value of the work performed has been certified by the City Engineer to <br />be $85,923.33; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has issued previous payments for this project in the amount of <br />$82,302.83; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a deduction of $140.00 has been charged for two hours of City sweeper <br />time and one hour of truck time which was necessary to sweep Roanoke Street N.W. (This was <br />missed by the sweeping subcontractor.); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends final payment to ASTECH in the amount of <br />$3,480.50. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to ASTECH for the 1992 <br />Sealcoating Project in the amount of $3,480.50. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />form for this final payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this final payment is not included in resolutions approving payment <br />of the bills for the month of March 1995. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilemmber Zimmerman <br />Councilemmber Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution #95-03-052 <br />Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
