Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-04-059 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which <br />provides for a system of arterial and collector thoroughfare; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has established a Municipal State Aid Street <br />System (MSAS) under Chapter 162 of the State Statutes which promotes the consu:uction <br />and maintenance of such an arterial and collector system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Ramsey to modify the <br />designated MSAS map to conform to its changing transportation needs. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following MSAS segment be added to the system: <br /> <br />An extension of MSAS #116 and Armstrong Boulevard <br />N.W. from 142nd Avenue N.W. to Riverdale Drive N.W. <br /> <br />An extension of MSAS #116 - Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br />N.W. from Riverdale Drive N.W. to T.H. gl0. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to forward two <br />certified copies of this resolution to the Commission of Transportation for <br />consideration and, that upon approval of the revisions of said road or portion <br />thereof, that same be constructed, improvement and maintained as a part of the <br />MSAS of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution #95-04-059 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
