Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-04-061 RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF VARIANCE TO BENJAMIN DEEMER WHEREAS, on March 17, 1994, Benjamin Deemer was granted a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the property generally known as 14501 Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W.; and WHEREAS, §9.03.05 of the City Code states that a variance shall become null and void one year after the date of issuance if it is not initiated or utilized, unless City Council has granted an extension; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a written request from Ben Deemer, dated April 4, 1995, in accordance with §9.03.05 of the City Code, indicating that construction has not commenced and that a one-year extension be granted to the variance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants a one-year extension to Ben Deemer at 14501 Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. for the construction of an accessory structure nearer the front property line than the principal structure. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Beyer Councilmernber Peterson and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 1 lth day of April 1995. ~ Xaministrator ' Mayor
