Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-04-083 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-14 (MUNICIPAL SANITARY <br />SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION TO HAUBRICH ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement, of the extension of municipal sanitary sewer and water to Haubrich Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA~ as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of the <br />extension of municipal sanitary sewer and water to Haubrich Addition has been filed with <br />the City Council on April 25, 1995. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the <br />required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to <br />City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g95- <br />14. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Hardin and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Couneilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
