• <br />a <br />Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #95-05-085 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-16 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING <br />OF BISON STREET BETWEEN 171ST AVENUE AND 173RD AVENUE) <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of Bison Street between 171st Avenue and 173rd Avenue; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing of Bison Street between 171st Avenue and 173rd Avenue has been <br />filed with the City Council on May 9, 1995. The petition is hereby declared to be signed <br />by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in <br />conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br />2) That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner.
