Patrol Officer <br /> <br />The department's Community Service Officer Chris Curtis was hired as a full-time patrol <br />officer. Curtis is starting his field training and is expected to complete the training in mid- <br />July. Interviews for the CSO vacancy will be held in June. <br /> <br />. Law Enforcement Memorial Service <br /> <br />Staff attended the annual memorial service held at the Anoka County Government Center <br />during law enforcement week. During law enforcement week, law enforcement agencies <br />around the nation honor those killed in the line of duty. <br /> <br />. Predatory Offender Notification <br /> <br />An informational meeting regarding a Level 3 Predatory Offender residing in the City of . <br />Ramsey was held on May ISth. Over 350 people attended the meeting, hosted by the Ramsey <br />Police Department and the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Information regarding the <br />offender is available on the City's Website. <br /> <br />. Lions Picnic <br /> <br />Staff presented demonstrations at the Ramsey Lions Picnic held at Central Park. <br />Presentations included a taser demonstration and drug recognition/prevention. <br /> <br />. LEEDS Training <br /> <br />Staff attended a LEEDS (Law Enforcement Executive Development) seminar presented by <br />the Federal Bureau ofInvestigation. <br /> <br />.
