Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-05-104 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-18 (MUNICIPAL SANITARY <br />SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION TO THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF <br />RUM RIVER PLAZA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of municipal sanitary sewer and water extension to the proposed subdivision of Rum <br />River Plaza; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />municipal sanitary sewer and water extension to the proposed subdivision of Rum River <br />Plaza has been filed with the City Council on May 23, 1995. The petition is hereby <br />declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota <br />Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowsld, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g95- <br />18. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
