Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-05-112 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-15 (CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, <br />WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS TO SERVICE THE PROPOSED <br />FOX KNOLL DEVELOPMENT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Ramsey City Council, adopted May 23, <br />1995, a report has been prepared by John C. Bertelsen of John Oliver & Associates, Inc. and <br />Steven Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project g05-15 (Construction of <br />Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer and Streets to Service the Proposed Fox Knoll <br />Development); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on May 23, 1995, <br />which indicates the following: <br /> <br />Estimated total cost of project <br />Estimated total assessment per unit <br />(individual property cost) <br />Estimated annual assessment per unit <br />(5-year term) <br /> <br />$163,800 <br />$ 8,684 <br />$ 2,350 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of the construction of <br />sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and streets to service the proposed Fox Knoll <br />development in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all <br />or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and <br />the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $8,684. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of June, <br />1995, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m., and the City <br />Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Couneilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> <br />
