There are things they could have done <br />better as a City to facilitate this more efficiently and accurately. This has been a challenging <br />project, and he asks as a City and staff that they work more diligently and be more open with <br />residents in the future, and allow them the input and the timeframe to make these decisions. <br />Trying to fit in a development as an infill project makes it even more difficult. Mayor Gamec <br />stated at the same time it is up to the Council to make decisions when things get very confusing. <br />When people cannot agree with each other it is time for the Council to step in and make a <br />decision. Staff has worked a lot with this project. Councilmember Cook concurred. He stated <br />they worked back and forth for almost two years on this development. The original opinion was <br />that the City had rights to the road through the maintenance, and they went above and beyond <br />with the residents. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
