Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-07-145 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-18 (EXTENSION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN TO RIVER/47 PLAZA ADDITION). WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council, adopted May 23, 1995, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of the Construction of Sanitary Sewer and Watermain to River/47 Plaza Addition (Project g95-18); and WHEREAS, the City has received a petition from 100 percent of the affected property owners; and WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held on July 11, 1995, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to do so. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted June 13, 1995. 2) That Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer, is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare or have prepared the plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beahen Couneilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 1 l th day of July, 1995. ~ %, .. ~ A'-ff~'i'nis trator Mayor
