Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g95-07-158 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME WHEREAS, Diane Dempsey has properly applied for a Home Occupation Permit to conduct doll~making classes within the private dwelling on the property generally known as 14794 Krypton Court N.W. and legally described as follows: Lot 5, Block 3, WOOD POND HILLS 3RD ADDITION; Anoka County, Minnesota (Subject Property); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on July 5, 1995, conducted the public hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Based on Findings of Fact # , a home occupation permit is hereby granted to Diane Dempsey, hereinafter referred to as "Permit Holder", at 14794 Krypton Court N.W. to conduct doll-making classes. Should the Permit Holder die or move to a new location, the permit shall be automatically terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation of the permit without further hearing. o The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total floor area of the private dwelling. Adequate water supply and sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of the Permit Holder. 5. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. 6. There shall be no exterior or interior display of business signs. 7. There shall be no exterior indications of the home occupation displayed. 8. There shall be no exterior storage of business equipment and materials. o Employees of the home occupation shall be restricted to persons residing within the private dwelling on the Subject Property. 10. Merchandise not considered accessory to the use shall not be displayed or offered for sale within the residence. No merchandise shall be displayed or offered for sale outside the residence.
