Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-08-163 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALLIED BLACKTOP, <br />INC. FOR THE 1995 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM DIVISION B <br />(IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS g95-01 THROUGH #95-08) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on April 25, <br />1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid <br />to Allied Blacktop, Inc. for the 1995 Street Maintenance Program - Division B (Improvement Projects <br />g95~01 through #95-08); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Allied Blacktop, Inc. in the amount of $68,824.74. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Allied Blacktop, Inc. for the 1995 <br />Street Maintenance Program - Division B (Improvement Projects g95-01 through #95-08) in <br />the amount of $68,824.74. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the month of August, 1995. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
