Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION //95-08-173 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 6'95-11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on March 28, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project g95-11; and WHEREAS, the value of the work performed has been certified by the Project Engineer to be $250,117.75; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $141,861.36. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project g95-11 in the amount of $141,861.36. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August 1995. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi Mayor Hardin Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Zimmerman
