Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 095-09-212 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE <br />GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE <br />LIGHT BAR FOR SQUAD g203 <br /> <br />1995 ADOPTED <br />REPLACEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Council's Finance Committee meeting of September 12, 1995, staff <br />presented a request for the replacement of one light bar for squad ff203; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the purchase of this light bar was not originally authorized in the 1995 <br />Adopted General Fund budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the purchase of one replacement light bar for squad #203 is necessary for <br />the proper and safe operation of the squad; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined to be more cost effective to replace this light bar <br />rather than expend monies for repairs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of a new light bar is approximately $619.00 plus shipping and <br />installation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the funding is available through increased revenues for 1995 in the General <br />Fund; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved this recommendation and hereby <br />recommends that Ramsey City Council authorize the purchase and funding sources as detailed in <br />this resolution. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the capital purchase of replacement light <br />bar for squad #203 at a cost not-to-exceed $619.00 plus shipping and installation. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes an amendment to the 1995 Adopted General Fund <br />Budget as detailed within this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Couneilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
