Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-09-213 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM 1995, PAYABLE 1996, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following proposed maximum levies for certified 1995, payable 1996, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as certified HACA - as certified Collected as Property Tax 326,723 505,839 1,387,908 $ 2,220,470 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Special Assessment Obligations (collected as property tax): Fund 317: 1989A G.O. Debt Service $ Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service 4,668 5.112 9,780 DRAINAGE DISTRICT LEVY Rum River Drainage District 28.000 TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 2,258,250 2) That the City of Ramsey's 1996 Public Budget Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for Wednesday, December 6, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. 3) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's Office on or before Friday, September 15, 1995 for the purpose of complying with Truth in Taxation. That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None Resolution #95-09-213 Page 1 of 2
