Councilmcmbcr Zimmcrman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g95-09-218 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO BARBAROSSA & SONS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g95-13 (RAMSEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN EXTENSION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on February 14, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for the Ramsey Elementary School sanitary sewer and watermain extension (Improvement Project g95-13; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Sankowski has inspected and recommends partial payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $182,458.38. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for the Ramsey Elementary School sanitary sewer and watermain extension (Improvement Project g05-13) in the amount of $182,458.38. 2. That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That thc total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of September, 1995. 4. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi Mayor Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman Couneilmember Beyer Councilmember Beahen Couneilmember Peterson and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None
