Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION ~95-10-240 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FINANCIAL SURETY AMOUNT FOR THE <br /> USE OF TEMPORARY STRUCTURES IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS <br /> <br /> Whereas, on October 10, 1995, the Ramsey City Council adopted a policy Wherein permits <br /> for temporary structures may be issued by City Staff administratively in emergency situations; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the adopted policy states that a financial surety will be required to ensure the <br /> timely removal of the temporary structure from the subject property; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the adopted policy states that the financial surety will be determined from time to <br /> time by City Council resolution. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the financial surety for the use of a temporary structure in emergency situations shall <br /> be Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). <br /> <br /> 2. That the form of the financial surety shall be subject to the prior approval of the City <br /> Adminislrator and/or his/her designee. <br /> <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Hardin <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Councilmember Beahen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> and the following voted against: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 10th day of October, 1995. , . . <br /> <br /> ~iayor ' <br /> ATTE~ff~_~ <br />.~~~miniSmtor - <br /> <br /> <br />
