Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-12-269 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1995, PAYABLE 1996, MUNICIPAL TAX <br />LEVY <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the following levies for assessed 1995, payable 1996, be levied upon the taxable <br />property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br />purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) <br /> HACA (as certified) <br /> Collected as Property Tax <br /> <br /> 326,723 <br /> 505,839 <br />1,387,908 <br /> <br />$ 2,220,470 <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />Special Assessment Obligations <br /> Fund 317: 1989A G.O. Debt Service <br /> Fund 321:1992B G.O. Debt Service <br /> <br />$ 4,668 <br />5,112 9,780 <br /> <br />DRSINAGE DISTRICT LEVY <br />Rum River Drainage District <br /> <br />28,000 <br /> <br />TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES <br /> <br />$ 2,258,250 <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 13, 1995. <br /> <br />That this final levy is being adopted as a result of the Public Budget Hearing held for the <br />purpose of hearing the opinions of Ramsey residents on the proposed budget and amount <br />of property taxes. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution <br />to the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Thursday, December 28, 1995, for the <br />purpose of complying with Troth-In-Taxation. <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councfilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
