Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g95-12-276 RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF PHILLIPS ADDITION TO RAMSEY WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey desires to extend Sunwood Drive NW in an east/west direction through property owned by Alan C. Phillips; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has agreed to plat the Phillips property served by the road extension in order to receive dedicated right-of-way for the extension; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, hereafter referred to as "Developer", has properly applied for final plat approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NW 1/4 of SE 1/4) of Section Twenty-seven (27), Township Thirty-two (32), Range Twenty-five (25), lying WESTERLY of ANOKA COUNTY HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY PLAT No. 8 and NORTH of the South 420.51 feet of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter as measured along the west line thereof. AND WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission, on December 5, 1995, approved the sketch plan of Phillips Addition to Ramsey and directed City Staff to proceed to the final plat stage; and WHEREAS, the City's development of transportation trails in the area shall satisfy park dedication requirements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants final plat approval to Phillips Addition to Ramsey. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Beahen Couneilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Beyer Couneilmember Peterson and the following voted against the same: -None and the following abstained: None
