Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-04-069 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF <br />AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-16 <br />CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM <br />AND STREETS TO FOX KNOLL 2ND ADDITION) <br /> <br />PLANS <br /> (THE <br />SEWER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council fixed a date for a Council hearing on the <br />proposed improvement of the Construction of Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer and <br />Streets to Fox Knoll 2nd Addition (Project g96-16); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the petition received by the City contained 100 percent of the benefitted <br />property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held on April 9, 1996, at which time all persons desiring to be heard <br />were given such opportunity. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the adopted Council resolution. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer, is hereby designated as the engineer for this <br />improvement. He shall prepare or have prepared the plans and specifications for the <br />making of such improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adoptedr~he Ramsey City Council this <br />the 9th day of April, 1996. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
