Councilmember Beahan introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-05-116 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-20 (OAKRIDGE <br />PARK STREET IMPROVEMENTS) <br /> <br />FEASIBILITY <br />INDUSTRIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the street <br />improvements of Oakridge Industrial Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the street improvements of <br />Oakridge Industrial Park has been filed with the City Council on May 14, 1996. The <br />petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property <br />owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and <br />Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, city Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g96- <br />20. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
