Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-05-122 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF OLD SCHOOL <br />HOUSE NO. 28 ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is fee title owner of property in the B-1 Business <br />District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, hereafter referred to as "Developer", has properly <br />applied for final plat approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />That part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 and Government Lot 3, Section <br />25, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying Westerly of the <br />centerline of State Highway No. 47 as now laid out and traveled described as <br />follows: Commencing at the Southwest comer of said Government Lot 3; thence <br />West on the South line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 a distance of 5 <br />rods (82.5 feet); thence North at right angles to said South line a distance of 12 rods <br />(198 feet) to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be hereby described; <br />thence continuing North on last course a distance of 93.43 feet; thence East and <br />parallel with the South line of said Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 a distance of <br />201.88 feet to its intersection with the centerline of State Highway No. 47; thence <br />Southeasterly along the centerline of State Highway No. 47 a distance of 100 feet to <br />its intersection with a line drawn parallel with the South line of said Southeast 1/4 of <br />the Southwest 1/4 from the actual point of beginning; thence West along said parallel <br />line a distance of 237.54 feet to the actual point of beginning. <br /> <br />Subject to an easement for highway purposes over the Easterly 33 feet thereof as <br />measured at right angles to the centedine of State Highway No. 47. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />That part of Lot Three (3), and of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter (SE <br />1/4 of SW 1/4) of Section Twenty-five (25), Township Thirty-two (32), Range <br />Twenty-five (25), described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest comer of <br />said Lot Three (3); thence West on the South line of the Southeast quarter of the <br />Southwest quarter (SE 1/4 of SW 1/4) Five (5) rods; thence North Twelve (12) rods; <br />thence East and parallel with the South line of said Southeast quarter of the <br />Southwest quarter (SE 1/4 of SW 1/4) about Sixteen (16) rods to the center of the <br />St. Francis Road, so-called; thence Southeasterly along the center of the St. Francis <br />Road, so-called, to a point where the South line of said Lot Three (3) crosses said <br />St. Francis Road; thence West on the South line of said LOt Three (3) to the point of <br />beginning, containing about 204 square rods of land. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan on May <br />7, 1996, and recommended site improvements on Lot 2, Block 1, to satisfy park dedication <br />requirements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants final plat approval to Old School House No. <br />28 Addition in accordance with relevant City Codes. <br /> <br /> <br />
