Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-06-150 RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES MANAGER LINDA WAITE SMITH FOR WHEREAS, Linda Waite Smith began employment at the City of Ramsey on December 18, 1995 as Administrative Services Manager in salary grade 16, with an annual salary of $43,000; and WHEREAS, City Administrator Ryan Schroeder, Ms. Waite Smith's immediate supervisor, has given a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Ms. Waite Smith and recommends retaining Ms. Waite Smith at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee, effective June 18, 1996; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its June 11, 1996 meeting agreed with the recommendation to retain Ms. Waite Smith as a regular, full-time employee, effective June 18, 1996. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey conf'wrns the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Linda Waite Smith and change in status to regular, full-time employee, effective June 18, 1996. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' Mayor Hardin Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Peterson and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Zimmerman whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 1 lth day of June 1996.
