Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-06-154 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LOT 2, BLOCK 2, BUSINESS <br />PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to the authority granted it by City Charter <br />Chapter Section 12.5 adopted Ordinance No. 96-01, which Ordinance approved the sale of Lot 2, <br />Block 2, BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION (the "Lot"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lot is a "Torrens" lot as classified by the Anoka County Registrar of <br />Titles' office; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Registrar of Titles' office, prior to accepting a <br />conveyance of the Lot by the City, requires that the City adopt a Resolution authorizing the Lot's <br />sale, notwithstanding Ordinance No. 96-01. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That Lot 2, Block 2, BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION may be sold upon <br />terms and conditions previously authorized by City Council. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City's Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute a deed and other <br />necessary conveyance documents in order to effectuate the sale of said Lot 2, Block 2, <br />BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Beahen <br /> <br /> <br />
