Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-07-157 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO BONINE EXCAVATING FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-18 (EXTENSION AND CONSTRUCTION OF <br />SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN TO RIVER/47 PLAZA ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July 11, 1995 <br />by Resolution #95-07-145; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #95-09-210 <br />awarding the bid to Bonine Excavating for the extension and construction of sanitary sewer and <br />watermain to River/47 Plaza Addition (Improvement Project g95-18); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payment has been made for Improvement Project g95-18 to Bonine <br />Excavating in the amount of $95,991.88; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to Bonine Excavating in the amount of $3,474.02. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Bonine Excavating for the extension <br />and construction of sanitary sewer and watermain to River/47 Plaza Addition (Improvement <br />Project #95~18) in the amount of $3,474.02. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the month of July, 1996. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
