Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-07-157 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO BONINE EXCAVATING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-18 (EXTENSION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN TO RIVER/47 PLAZA ADDITION) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July 11, 1995 by Resolution #95-07-145; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #95-09-210 awarding the bid to Bonine Excavating for the extension and construction of sanitary sewer and watermain to River/47 Plaza Addition (Improvement Project g95-18); and WHEREAS, previous payment has been made for Improvement Project g95-18 to Bonine Excavating in the amount of $95,991.88; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Bonine Excavating in the amount of $3,474.02. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Bonine Excavating for the extension and construction of sanitary sewer and watermain to River/47 Plaza Addition (Improvement Project #95~18) in the amount of $3,474.02. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of July, 1996. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
