Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-08-192 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 3RD PARTIAL PAYMENT (FINAL) TO H & M <br />ASPHALT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-15 (CONSTRUCTION OF <br />SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS TO <br />SERVICE FOX KNOLL) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on June 27, <br />1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 25, 1995, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution <br />#95-07-159 awarding the bid to H & M Asphalt. for the construction of sanitary sewer and <br />watermain, storm sewer and streets to service Fox Knoll (Improvement Project g95-15); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payments have been made for Improvement Project g95-15 to H & <br />M Asphalt in the amount of $110,102.60; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to H & M Asphalt in the amount of $8,898.37. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to H & M Asphalt for the construction <br />of sanitary sewer and watermain, storm sewer and streets to service Fox Knoll (Improvement <br />Project #95-15) in the amount of $8,898.37. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the month of August, 1996. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
