Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-09-253 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM 1996, PAYABLE 1997, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following proposed maximum levies for certified 1996, payable 1997, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: IjEINERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as certified HACA - as certified Collected as Property Tax $ 366,128 506,579 1,592,019 $ 2,464,726 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Special Assessment Obligations (collected as property tax): Fund 317: 1989A G.O. Debt Service $ Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service 4,667 5,735 10,402 SPECIAL DISTRICT LEVY Sewer and Water Projects 79,680 TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 2,554,808 2) That the City of Ramsey's 1997 Public Budget Heating is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. 3) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's Office on or before Monday, September 16, 1996 for the purpose of complying with Truth in Taxation. That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.'
