Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-09-253 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM 1996, PAYABLE <br />1997, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the following proposed maximum levies for certified 1996, payable 1997, be levied <br />upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for <br />the following purposes: <br /> <br />IjEINERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as certified <br /> HACA - as certified <br /> Collected as Property Tax <br /> <br />$ 366,128 <br /> 506,579 <br /> 1,592,019 <br /> <br />$ 2,464,726 <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />Special Assessment Obligations (collected as property tax): <br /> Fund 317: 1989A G.O. Debt Service $ <br /> Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service <br /> <br />4,667 <br />5,735 <br /> <br />10,402 <br /> <br />SPECIAL DISTRICT LEVY <br />Sewer and Water Projects <br /> <br />79,680 <br /> <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES <br /> <br />$ 2,554,808 <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey's 1997 Public Budget Heating is scheduled for Wednesday, <br />December 4, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for <br />Thursday, December 12, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution <br />to the Anoka County Auditor's Office on or before Monday, September 16, 1996 for the <br />purpose of complying with Truth in Taxation. <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
