Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-09-254 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO BARBAROSSA & SONS, <br />INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 6'95-13 (RAMSEY ELEMENTARY <br />SCHOOL SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN EXTENSION) AND <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-14 (MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER AND <br />WATER EXTENSION TO HAUBRICH ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project <br />13 on February 14, 1995 and Improvement Project g05-14 on September 26, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 27, 1995, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution g95-06-136 awarding the bid to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for the Ramsey Elementary <br />School sanitary sewer and watermain extension (Improvement Project g05-13); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey awarded Improvement Project//95- <br />14 to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. by change order on September 26, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $45,113.86. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project //95-13 and Improvement Project //95-14 in the amount of <br />$45,113.86. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of September, 1996. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
