Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-10-285 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ARCON CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANY, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g94-20 (THE EXTENSION OF <br />SANITARY SEWER AND WATER TO THE PROPOSED ANOKA ELECTRIC <br />COOPERATIVE FACILITY AND ENERGY PARK ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution g94-09-214 on <br />September 27, 1994, approving this project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution g95-08-169 on <br />August 8, 1995, awarding the bid to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for the extension of sanitary <br />sewer and water to the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative Facility and Energy Park Addition <br />(Improvement Project g94-20); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payments have been made to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in <br />the amount of $737,602.47; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $37,821.19. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Arcon Construction Company, <br />Inc. for the extension of sanitary sewer and water to the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative <br />Facility and Energy Park Addition (Improvement Project #94-20) in the amount of <br />$37,821.19. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the month of October, 1996. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
