Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-10-314 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER FROM SHARP <br />ASSOCIATES ON THE POLICE OFFICE BUILDING CONTRACT <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 9, 1996, Council authorized entering into a contract with Sharp <br />and Associates for the construction of an office building; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in the 1996 adopted budget, Council approved $22,727 in office <br />improvements for the Community Development Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of the office building construction project, the Police Department <br />is vacating the existing space dedicated to the Police Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the non-structural elements of that space be <br />removed in order to facilitate reuse of the space by the Community Development Department. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a change order in the contract with Sharp Associates be approved in the amount of <br />$11,400 in order to provide for the reconfiguration of the Police Office space for use by the <br />Community Development Department. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 22nd day of October, 1996. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />dministrator 7~ <br /> <br /> <br />
