Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-11-327 RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER DUANE E. DORDAHL WHEREAS, Duane E. Dordahl began employment at the City of Ramsey on April 1, 1995 as a Public Works Maintenance Worker in salary grade 7, with an annual salary of $20,800; and WHEREAS, Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos, Mr. Dordahl's immediate supervisor, has given a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Mr. Dordahl and recommends retaining Mr. Dordahl at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee, retroactive to October 1, 1996; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its November 12, 1996 meeting agreed with the recommendation to retain Mr. Dordahl as a regular, full-time employee, retroactive to October 1, 1996. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confh'ms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Duane E. Dordahl and change in status to regular, full-time employee, retroactive to October 1, 1996. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Peterson and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Zimmerman whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of November 1996.
