Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption; RESOLUTION g96-12-347 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1996, PAYABLE 1997, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following levies for assessed 1996, payable 1997, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) HACA (as certified) Collected as Property Tax $ 366,128 506,579 1,627,685 $ 2,500,392 DEI}T SERVICE LEVY Special Assessment Obligations Fund 317: 1989A G.O. Debt Service Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service $ 4,667 5,735 10,402 TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES $ 2,510,794 2) That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 10, 1996. 3) That this final levy is being adopted as a result of the Public Budget Heating held for the purpose of heating the opinions of Ramsey residents on the proposed budget and amount of property taxes. 4) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Monday, December 30, 1996, for the purpose of complying with Troth-In-Taxation. That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beahen Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
