Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g96-12-351 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF SLIDE PROJECTOR FOR CRIME PREVENTION AND D.A.R.E. <br />PROGRAMS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee meeting of December 10, 1996, staff presented a <br />request for the purchase of a slide projector for crime prevention and D.A.R.E. programs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the purchase of a slide projector was not originally authorized in the 1996 <br />Adopted General Fund Budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the slide projector and supplies can be purchased for a total cost not-to- <br />exceed $525.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is sufficient moneys remaining in the 1996 <br />D.A.R.E. budget and the funds are available through a budget line item re-allocation from <br />operating supplies to capital equipment. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment increasing D.A.R.E. <br />Capital Outlay by $525.00 and reducing the miscellaneous operating supplies budget line <br />item by $525.00. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a slide projector a cost <br />not-to-exceed $525.00. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 10th day of December, 1996. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
