Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #96-12-347 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1996, PAYABLE 1997, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the followwng levies for assessed 1996, payable 1997, be levied upon the taxable <br /> property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br /> purposes: <br /> GENERAL LEVY <br /> Fund 101: General Fund—General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer(as certified) $ 366,128 <br /> HACA (as certified) 506,579 <br /> Collected as Property Tax 1,627685 $ 2,500,392 <br /> DEBIT SERVICE LEVY <br /> Special Assessment Obligations <br /> Fund 317: 1989A G.O. Debt Service $ 4,667 <br /> Fund 321: 1992B G.O. Debt Service 5,735 10,402 <br /> TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES 2,510,794 <br /> 2) That the final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 10, 1996. <br /> 3) That the final levy is being adopted as a result of the Public Budget Hearing held for the <br /> purpose of hearing the opinions of Ramsey residents on the proposed budget and amount <br /> of property taxes. <br /> 4) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution <br /> to the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Monday, December 30, 1996, for the <br /> purpose of complying with Truth-In-Taxation. <br /> That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Beahen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> Mayor Hardin <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Councilmember Beahen <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br />
