Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-01-036 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING GLEN D. HARDIN FOR SERVICE TO THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, from the years 1984 through 1990, Mr. Glen D. Hardin served the City of <br />Ramsey as a volunteer commissioner on the Economic Development Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, from the years 1991 through 1994, Mr. Hardin served the City as a member <br />of the City Council of the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in the years 1995 and 1996, Mr. Hardin served the City as the Mayor of the <br />City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during these years of service to the community, the City of Ramsey <br />experienced major changes in population, service level, and all other aspects of governance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the hard work, dedication, decisions, and leadership of Mr. Hardin have <br />contributed to the City of Ramsey being a desirable community within which to live and work. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That Mr. Glen D. Hardin is thanked and applauded for his many contributions to this <br />community. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 28th day of Janu ary, 1997. 2~~~~j~ <br /> yor <br /> <br />~J(drZninistrator I <br /> <br /> <br />
