Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g97-02-047 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT TO PROVIDE <br />ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS <br />OFFERED THROUGH ANOKA-HENNEPIN ISD #11 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee meeting of February 25, 1997, staff presented a <br />request for a budget amendment to provide additional funding for community education programs <br />offered through Anoka-Hennepin ISD #11; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 1997 Adopted General Fund Budget was funding in the <br />amount of $15,800 for community education; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that additional funding in the amount of $4,935 is <br />necessary to increase the programs offered due to increased Ramsey student enrollments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, additional funding for increased programming would require an allocation <br />from the Council Contingency in the amount of 3,964. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment increasing the <br /> Community Education programs by $3,964. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment re-allocating $3,964 from <br />the 1997 Council Contingency Fund. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of February, 1997. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
