Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-03-060 <br /> <br />A RI/;SOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #0419 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM ERIC THOMSEN FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO GRADE AND <br />EXPORTS SOILS <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Eric Thomsen for a <br />co~tditional ase permit to grade and export excess soils from the property legally described as <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying northerly of the centerline of Trott Brooks, <br />subject to easement of record; <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />The Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota, lying southerly of County Road #63 <br /> <br />(the "Subj ect Property"). <br /> <br />NOW THEiREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on January 4, 1997, Eric Thomsen, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly <br />applied for a conditional use permit to grade and export excess soils from the Subject <br />Property. <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on February 4, 1997, and that said public <br />heaning 'was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has submitted a grading plan dated January 14, 1997, prepared by <br />E.G. Rud & Sons, Inc. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to export approximately 200,000 yards of earth material. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the proposed haul route for incoming and outgoing <br />trucks will be from the site directly north for a distance of 1,200 feet to County Road #63. <br /> <br /> <br />
