Board Member Bawden introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-04-065 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURE NEARER THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE <br />PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John and Yvonne Lyrenmann (Permittees) have properly applied for a <br />variance from Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code to construct an accessory structure <br />nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the property generally known as <br />9360 181st Avenue NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Gordon's Gardens 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on April 1, <br />1997, pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That based on Findings of Fact # 0421, a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer <br /> the front property line than the principal structure on the Subject Property is hereby granted. <br /> <br />2. That the accessory garage constructed on the subject property shall not be located any closer <br /> than 175 feet from the front property line. <br /> <br />3. That the Permittees shall obtain all necessary permits prior to commencing any construction <br /> of the accessory structure. <br /> <br />4. That the accessory structure shall be 'used for storage of personal property and that no <br /> commercial activity of any type shall be permitted in said structure. <br /> <br />5. That the Permittees and/or property owners shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in <br /> administering and enforcing this variance. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Board Member <br />Terry, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Chairperson Ben Deemer <br />Board Member David Bawden <br />Board Member Michael Terry <br />Board Member Sharon Jensen <br />Board Member Charles LaDue <br />Board Member Bradley Thorud <br /> <br /> <br />
