That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 2,016 square foot metal accessory structure <br />and a 2,400 square foot whole-log or log-sided sales building on the Subject Property for a <br />total of 4,416 square feet of accessory space. <br /> <br />That the Applicant proposes to construct the metal building in 1997 and the log building by <br />2002. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the purpose of the metal building is to house equipment <br />and materials relating to the tree farm activity and provide a temporary sales area during the <br />November/December holidays until the permanent sales building is constructed. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />That the Applicant proposes to locate the metal building approximately 100 feet from 155th <br />Avenue NW where it will be substantially screened from the adjacent parcels in all <br />directions. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has supplied the City with a petition signed by 19 area property owners <br />supporting the request for the construction of accessory buildings prior to the principal <br />building on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />13. That the proposed buildings will not adversely impact traffic in the area. <br /> <br />14. That the proposed buildings will not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental to <br /> persons residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br /> <br />15. That the proposed buildings will not substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment, or <br /> market value of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />16. That the proposed buildings will not be hazardous or disturbing to existing or future <br /> neighboring uses. <br /> <br />17. That the proposed buildings will be served adequately by public facilities and services such <br /> as highways and streets. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />That the proposed buildings will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost <br />for public facilities and services, and it will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of <br />the community. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />That the proposed buildings will not involve activities and uses that will be detrimental to <br />any persons, property, or the general welfare by reason of excessive production of traffic, <br />noise, smoke, fumes, glare, or odors. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-05-130 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
