Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-05-131 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0426 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO <br />CONSTRUCT ACCESSORY STRUCTURES PRIOR TO THE PRINCIPAL BUILDING <br />ON A PARCEL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #97-05-130 adopting <br />Findings of Fact #0426 for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That on May 27, 1997, a Conditional Use Permit ("CLIP") was issued by the City of Ramsey <br />("City") to David L. Hansen, Mark H. Hansen, and Trygg J. Hansen ("Permit Holders") to <br />construct accessory structures prior to the principal building on the property generally known as <br />the Hansen Tree Farm and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(Subject Property). <br /> <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 and 9.1.18 of the Ramsey City Code. The <br />conditions of this permit are as follows: <br /> <br />That prior to the development of any principal buildings on the Subject Property, this <br />resolution shall allow for the construction of two accessory structures on the Subject Property <br />with a total square footage not to exceed 4,800 square feet. <br /> <br />That this resolution shall permit the construction of one metal sided accessory structure, at a <br />size not to exceed 2,100 square feet, without benefit of a commercial site plan review and <br />contingent upon a design that includes soffit, fascia, a front entrance overhang, and <br />establishment of shade tolerant evergreens between the building and the public right-of-way. <br /> <br />That the Permit Holders shall obtain a commercial site plan review and approval in <br />accordance with City Code and all other necessary permits prior to commencing any <br />construction on the second accessory structure. <br /> <br />That the accessory structures shall be used for year-around storage of materials and <br />equipment, and seasonal sales related to Christmas trees and holiday accessories from <br />November 1 to January 1 each year. <br /> <br /> <br />
