1305253 <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-07-177 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0432 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED SIGN SURFACE RESTRICTIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #97-07-176 adopting <br />Findings of Fact #0432 for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That on July 22, 1997, a Conditional Use Permit ("CUP") was issued by the City of Ramsey <br />("City") to Metropolitan Visions ("Permit Holder") to exceed the sign surface area restrictions on <br />the ground sign at the property generally known as 6360 Hwy. #10 NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> That part of Section 35, Township 32 North, Range 25 West of the 4th Meridian <br /> described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the West line of said <br /> Section 35 and the south line of the right-of-way of United States Military Highway also <br /> known as Highway 10; thence southeasterly along the Southerly line of said highway <br /> right-of-way a distance of 244.4 feet; thence Southwesterly at an angle of 90 degrees a <br /> distance of 140 feet; thence South 65 degrees 20 minutes East 26.3 feet; thence South <br /> parallel with and 189.2 feet East of the West line of said Section 35, a distance of 715.9 <br /> feet more or less to the Mississippi River; thence Northwesterly along said Mississippi <br /> River, a distance of 230.1 feet more or less to the West line of said Section 35; thence <br /> North along the West line of said Section 35, a distance of 8174 feet more or less to the <br /> point of beginning. <br /> <br />EXCEPT the following three parcels: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96; Anoka County, Minnesota, described as <br />follows: Commencing at the Northwest comer of said Lot 1; thence South on the West <br />line of said Lot 1 a distance of 230 feet; thence East at right angles to said West line <br />towards a point on the said Easterly line of said Lot 1, said point being 140 feet <br />Southwesterly from Northeast comer of said Lot 1 for a distance of 71 feet, more or less, <br />to the Southwest comer of tract of land owned by Lewis Lane; thence Northeasterly in a <br />straight line a distance of 176 feet, more or less to a point on the Northerly line of said <br />Lot 1 said point being 154.4 feet Southeasterly from point of commencement; thence <br />Northwesterly 154.4 feet to place of commencement, <br /> <br />and except <br /> <br /> <br />
