Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-07-185 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR A <br />TEMPORARY STRUCTURE AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Transwest, Inc. has properly applied for an interim use permit for a <br />temporary structure for the purposes of providing additional office space on the property <br />generally known as 6100 Industry Avenue NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Park 67 Industrial Park, Anoka County, Mim~esota <br /> <br />("Subject Property"). <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on July 14, 1997, conducted the public <br />hearing, and recommended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That based on Findings of Fact #0435, an interim use permit for a temporary structure is <br />hereby granted to Transwest, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Permit Holder," at 6100 <br />Industry Avenue NW. <br /> <br />2) That this permit shall terminate on August 1, 1998. <br /> <br />3) That the size, type of construction and placement of the temporary structure shall be in <br /> accordance with the one sheet site plan attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the temporary structure shall comply with all applicable Building Code and Fire Code <br />regulation and standards for such structures. The Permit Holder shall be responsible for <br />obtaining all necessary permits, including a building permit, prior to moving the structure <br />onto the property. Said building permit will not be issued until all financial obligations <br />relating to this permit and the application escrow account have been satisfied. <br /> <br />s) <br /> <br />That the Permit Holder shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br />enforcing this interim use permit. Said expenses shall be paid within 15 days of billing by <br />the City, and failure to pay the City's expenses within the 15 day billing period will permit <br />the City to draw upon any of the escrows required by this agreement for payment. <br />Furthermore, to ensure the timely removal of the temporary structure prior to the expiration <br />date of this permit, the Permit Holder shall maintain a minimum balance of $500.00 in the <br />application escrow account until such time as the permit has expired and/or the temporary <br />structure has been removed from the property. <br /> <br /> <br />
