Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#24-214 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING MAINTENANCE PROJECT #24-57, 2024 SPRAY PATCHING CONTRACTED SERVICES WHEREAS, numerous public streets in the City of Ramsey require pavement patching; and WHEREAS, the adopted budget for 2024 includes $575,000 for crack sealing, pavement rejuvenation, and temporary pavement patching projects that support the Pavement Management Program; and WHEREAS, the final project cost for City Improvement Project 424-08, 2024 Crack Seal Improvements, was $130,320, of which $53,431.20 is proposed to be paid from Municipal State Aid maintenance funds; and WHEREAS, the estimated project cost for City Improvement Project 424-09, 2024 Pavement Rejuvenator Improvements, is $239,820, of which $35,973.00 is proposed to be paid from Municipal State Aid maintenance funds; and WHEREAS, the final project cost for City Improvement Project 424-55, 2024 Pavement Patching Contracted Services, is $228,092.71; and WHEREAS, an estimated $66,000 remains available for a 2024 Spray Patching Contracted Services project; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 24-204 adopted July 23, 2024 the City Council approved plans and contract documents and authorized soliciting Requests for Quotes for Maintenance Project 424-57, 2024 Spray Patching Contracted Services; and WHEREAS, three (3) quotes were opened and tabulated on August 8, 2024, and the following quotes were found to comply with the approved Request for Quotes; and Contractor Quote RCM Specialties, Inc. $26,250.00 Diversified Pavement Resources, Inc. $28,700.00 Allied Blacktop Company $58,317.00 WHEREAS, RCM Specialties, Inc. of Hastings, Minnesota, who submitted a total quote in the amount of $26,250.00 for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved Request for Quotes, is the lowest responsible proposer and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted.
