Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #97-07-184 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT 0435 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR A TEMPORARY OFFICE STRUCTURE ON <br />THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 6100 INDUSTRY AVENUE NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Transwest, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied <br />for an Interim Use Permit to utilize a temporary office structure on the property generally known <br />as 6100 Industry Avenue NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 2, Block 1, Park 67 Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("Subject Property"). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br /> to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on July 14, 1997, and that said public hearing <br /> was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br /> by reference. <br /> <br />2) That the subject property is located in the Industrial District and is approximately 2.5 acres in <br /> size. <br /> <br />3) That the surrounding parcels on the east, west and south are zoned Industrial and the property <br /> on the north side of Industry Avenue is zoned for single family residential. <br /> <br />4) That the Applicant is proposing to place a 12' x 60' modular office structure on the subject <br /> property. <br /> <br />5) That the Applicant has stated that the purpose of the temporary structure is to provide <br /> additional office space while assessing space needs and preparing a site plan to either expand <br /> on the current site or relocate to another site. <br /> <br />6) That the Applicant is requesting the use of the temporary structure for a one (1) year period. <br /> <br />7) That utilization of temporary structures is not a permitted use in any zone in the City or <br /> Ramsey. <br /> <br />8) That the City has granted similar permits in the past. <br /> <br />9) That the proposed temporary structure will not increase traffic to or from the subject <br /> property. <br /> <br /> <br />
