Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-08-192 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO E. H. RENNER & SONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-22 (CONSTRUCTION OF WELL NO. 4) WHEREAS, on May 13, 1997, the Ramsey City Council approved this project and awarded the bid (which was included as a separate schedule with the bids for Well No. 3) to Alberg Water Services, LLC for the construction of Well No. 4 (Improvement Project #97-22) at the contract price of $81,455; and WHEREAS, on June 10, 1997, the Ramsey City Council approved a change order authorizing a change in the scope of Improvement Project #97-22 (Construction of Well No. 4) and awarding work for a water well test hole to E. H. Renner & Sons; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to E. H. Renner & Sons in the amount of $5,998.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to E. H. Renner & Sons for the water well test hole for Improvement Project #97-22 in the amount of $5,998.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August, 1997. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
