Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-08-201 RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDED FINAL PAYMENT TO S.R. WEIDEMA, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-21 (SUNWOOD DRIVE WEST) WHEREAS, on April 9, 1996, City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #96-05-119 awarding the bid to S.R. Weidema, Inc. for the construction of Sunwood Drive from C.R. #56 to C.R. #116, including watermain and sanitary sewer (Improvement Project #95-21); and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council has authorized previous payments amounting to $804,126.40; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to S.R. Weidema, Inc. in the amount of $7,295.70. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to S.R. Weidema, Inc. for the construction of Sunwood Drive from C.R. #56 to C.R. gl 16, including watermain and sanitary sewer (Improvement Project #95-21) in the amount of $7,295.70. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August 1997. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
